We are holding a one day symposium on Wednesday 29th April, inspired by our current collaboration with Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (BCMG) and other contemporary arts organisations. Practitioners and researchers are warmly invited to join us for discussions of the methods, practicalities and ethics of researching with contemporary arts audiences, and the potential impact of such research. Contributions of ten minute researcher/practitioner statements are welcomed: please submit a 200 word proposal and a short biography to firstname.lastname@example.org by 28th February to be considered for the programme. Details of how to register for the event will be posted on the SPARC website by 1st March 2015. We hope you’ll be able to join us – and please do spread the word to your networks of contemporary arts audiences, practitioners and researchers.
