UACA team members, pilot project colleagues and wider University of Sheffield colleagues celebrated the official launch of UACA in style on Monday 3 July! Here we are outside the Humanities Research Institute:
On the day, we were treated to a fantastic workshop on academic/cultural sector partnerships – ‘Making Partnerships Work’ – led by V&A/TUoS Research and External Engagement Fellow, Dr Angela McShane. Useful advice on support and funding for partnership working in the University was also on hand in the form of Amy Ryall (External Engagements Projects Manager, Humanities Research Institute) and Dr Jane Hodson (Director of Impact and Engagement for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities,University of Sheffield) .
In the afternoon, the UACA team met for some very productive discussions on getting the best possible start for our project.
And here is evidence of the hard work going on in the workshop! Thanks to everyone involved for making it such a successful day. Here’s to the success of the project!
